One App, Every Model: Why EBITDAI Supports All Major AI Providers
Every AI company wants to lock you into their ecosystem. We built EBITDAI to do the opposite.
The Problem: Ecosystem Lock-In
OpenAI makes ChatGPT for Excel. Anthropic makes Claude for Excel. Microsoft bundles Copilot into 365. Google is building Gemini into Sheets. Every AI lab is shipping its own spreadsheet integration, and every one of them has the same business model: our models, our prices, our rules.
This isn't a coincidence. AI models are commoditizing fast, and the labs know it. The way to maintain margin is to lock users into a vertical stack: the model, the interface, and the billing relationship all bundled together. Once you're in, switching costs keep you in.
For users, this means you're always paying whatever your chosen lab decides to charge, with whatever usage limits they decide to impose, using whatever model version they decide to give you. You don't pick the model. The model picks you.
The Solution: Model-Agnostic by Design
EBITDAI takes a fundamentally different approach. We don't sell AI. We don't resell tokens. We don't mark up inference. Instead, we built the best possible financial-modeling layer on top of any frontier AI model, and let you bring your own.
You create an account with whichever AI provider you want. You get an API key from their console. You paste it into EBITDAI. From that point on, your models run on your AI account, at your provider's prices, with your provider's capabilities. We handle the part we're actually good at: turning a general-purpose AI into a disciplined financial analyst that builds CFO-grade models in Excel.
Your key stays on your device, and we never store your workbook content. DeepSeek and pay-as-you-go Kimi calls go straight from Excel to your provider; Kimi Code and Gemini cannot be called from a browser, so those pass through our stateless relay, which forwards the request and stores nothing.
Why This Matters: Models Change Fast
The AI landscape is evolving faster than any software category in history. Benchmarks that seemed untouchable six months ago have been surpassed. Pricing that seemed reasonable has been undercut by 10x. New providers emerge from nowhere and leapfrog incumbents.
Today, Kimi K3 is the best model for coding tasks at a fraction of the cost of its competitors. Tomorrow it might be GPT-6 or Claude 5 or something that doesn't exist yet. If your Excel add-in is locked to one provider, you're stuck with yesterday's model at yesterday's price.
With EBITDAI, switching providers takes seconds. Open the settings, pick a different provider, paste a different key. Your models, your formatting, your workflow: everything stays the same. Only the engine underneath changes.
Cost Flexibility: Pay What Makes Sense for You
Different users have different usage patterns, and no single pricing model works for everyone. Being model-agnostic means you can optimize for your situation:
Heavy user? Kimi Code.
$19/month flat, unlimited use. If you're building models daily, iterating, stress-testing, rebuilding, a flat rate means you never think about cost. Kimi Code gives you 100x more usage than Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus at the same price.
Occasional user? DeepSeek.
Pay-as-you-go: $0.22 per million input tokens and $0.66 per million output, off-peak. A full DCF model costs a few cents. No subscription, no commitment, no waste. If you build a handful of models a month, DeepSeek is the cheapest option that exists.
Already have credits? OpenAI or Anthropic.
If your company already has an OpenAI or Anthropic API account with credits, use them. Both are excellent models. They're just expensive relative to Kimi and DeepSeek. But if the credits are already there, there's no reason not to put them to work.
Future-Proof by Architecture
EBITDAI's model-agnostic architecture isn't just about today's providers. It's about every provider that will exist tomorrow. When a new model launches, whether it's from an established lab or a startup nobody's heard of, we evaluate it, and if it meets our standards for financial modeling, we add support.
You never have to wait for us to negotiate a partnership or build an integration. If a provider has an API, EBITDAI can use it. That's the architectural decision that keeps you from ever being locked in.
We think this is how AI tools should work. The interface layer, the thing that understands financial modeling, that enforces doctrine, that formats like a banker, that's the durable value. The model underneath is a commodity, and commodities should be swappable.
One App. Every Model. Your Choice.
EBITDAI runs Kimi (Kimi Code subscription or metered key) and DeepSeek. Pick the provider that fits your workflow and budget. Switch whenever you want.
