EBITDAI is an AI financial-modeling agent that lives inside Excel: it reads, writes, formats, and audits your actual workbook. It was built by one finance practitioner who got tired of AI tools that don't understand how models are actually constructed.
EBITDAI is built and run by Joe Orsi, CFA, a CFA charterholder and working FP&A practitioner. The modeling methodology baked into EBITDAI is the same one Joe has used in practice, and it sits behind more than $1 billion of raised capital.
That methodology is the product. Generic AI assistants can write a formula, but they don't carry an opinion about how a three-statement model should balance, how a debt schedule should amortize, how working capital should flow through the cash flow statement, or how SaaS ARR should build. EBITDAI ships with that doctrine as standing instructions, so the agent structures workbooks the way a practitioner would.
The add-in is live on Microsoft AppSource (5.0★ across its first 3 ratings) and works in Excel on the web and desktop, on Windows and Mac.
Our position is simple: you shouldn't pay rent on capped AI. Every major lab now sells an Excel assistant bundled with its own subscription: their models, their prices, their usage limits. Heavy modelers hit those caps fast, and the only fix on offer is a more expensive tier.
EBITDAI takes a different architecture. It runs on DeepSeek and Kimi, whose token prices are a fraction of the big labs': that is how a $5 plan can include AI usage at all. Power users on Pro can bring their own provider instead and pay that provider's actual price. Connect a DeepSeek API key and a full model build costs a few cents, pay-per-token, with zero markup from EBITDAI. Or connect a Kimi Code subscription key ($19/month flat). EBITDAI is currently the only Excel agent that runs on a flat-rate Kimi subscription: it speaks the Anthropic-format API that Kimi Code uses.
EBITDAI itself is free to start (150 AI requests a week on Meta Muse Spark 1.3, where Meta trains on everything you send), then $5 a month on Lite or $15 a month on Pro (20% off annually), each with AI usage included every month. Lite runs on Meta Muse Spark 1.3 on Meta's Contributor tier only, the same tier as the free plan. Pro adds every included model and the QuickBooks, Campfire and Stripe connectors, and it is the plan that runs on your own API key for every provider.
Not a chat window bolted onto a sidebar. EBITDAI reads, writes, formats, and audits the cells in your actual workbook, in Excel on the web and desktop.
Three-statement models, debt schedules, working capital, SaaS ARR builds: practitioner methodology is part of the agent's standing instructions.
Your key is stored on your device, never on our servers. Own-key DeepSeek and pay-as-you-go Kimi calls go straight from the add-in to the provider; Kimi Code and Gemini cannot be called from a browser, so those pass through our stateless relay, which stores no prompt or workbook content.
